If you planning to attend and require mains electricity to power equipment please bring your own long extension leads also please inform the Society Secretary that you plan to attend and if mains electricity is required.

Bring a spare pair of shoes as the site can get little muddy under foot.. or wellies!

Please remember to use a red light torch at the Observing night as to not to destroy peoples night vision attending the event!

Please remember that the observing night are open to all members of the society not just those who are interested in imaging so please come along and join in, who knows what you may see and learn, it’s quite a sociable event as astronomy can be quite a solitary pastime, but do remember to wrap up warm as it can get quite chilly as regular members who attend can confirm. Also if you want to, bring a portable chair as standing for a long period can get tiring and also a hot drink to keep out the cold.
